Vision and Mission
The mission of SaviKannada Jacksonville is to educate and promote
public awareness and interest in the Folk Arts, Kannada literature, Kannada language, and the cultural identity of Kannada-speaking
and Kannada-loving people of North-East Florida.
Community
A strong and growing community of over 400+ members residing
in Duval and St. Johns counties. We currently have over 300+ paid members. In just 3 years, over 150 kannadigas have relocated to the JAX area. We all come together to celebrate festivals and cultural events throughout the year.
Outreach
We have a strong social media presence and are active on FaceBook and Instagram. The goal is to reach out to other Kannada families in JAX, spread awareness, and have them added as members of the organization.

With recent events highlighting the need for cultural preservation, our organization is more dedicated than ever to promoting the Kannada language and culture. Our team plans a variety of events throughout the year that are both fun and informative. Welcome to SaviKannada Jacksonville, where we celebrate the rich culture of Karnataka and the community it represents. SaviKannada is incorporated under the (jurisdiction) laws of the State of Florida for Social, Cultural, Educational, and Charitable purposes/activities. It is a non-political, voluntary community organization for Kannadigas in Noth-East Florida.
Our non-profit organization is committed to preserving and promoting the Kannada language and way of life, all while bringing the community together in Florida. We offer a range of activities and events throughout the year, from cultural festivals and performances to educational and community-building opportunities. Our community is committed to preserving our traditions, values, and customs from older generations to younger ones.
